Celebrating PAWSwalk 2024
June 22nd is the last day for PAWSwalk 2024!!! Participants have been raising funds and logging their miles all for the benefit of PAWS - the Progressive Animal Welfare Society. Every mile logged by the PAWSwalkers is being generously matched dollar-for-mile (up to $25,000) by Darwin's Natural Pet Products. So far the PAWSwalkers community has walked over 22,000 miles and raised nearly $175,000!!!
The CWM Team enjoyed a nature walk with our pups on a recent sunny Saturday at Saint Edward State Park. As a team we've walked over 150 miles these past few weeks. We have a few more miles to go before PAWSwalk concludes and we hope you'll cheer us on!
CWM team members raised funds to celebrate the companion animals in our lives. Here are a few of the animals we honored with our miles.
CWM's partnership with PAWS began in 2018 when our beloved friend and co-worker Linda McCormack passed away. Linda had a huge heart for animals and volunteered at PAWS regularly. To honor Linda's memory, CWM launched a campaign to raise $100k for PAWS. Thanks to the wonderful CWM community, we have raised $92,067 (only $7,933 to go!).
